As of February 1st, 2023, the International Sivananda Organisation will not recognise certificates for activities taught by the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta centres and ashrams in India. This does not include the courses taught in Rudraprayag, Himalayas, which are organised and taught by the European Sivananda Yoga Centres. Details.

Teachers' Training Courses

Our certificate courses are suitable for all yoga practitioners and ideal for yoga teachers and health professionals, offering an opportunity for personal practice infused with concise topics, specific teachings, workshops and lectures.
New to Yoga
Discover yoga as taught in the Sivananda Yoga Ashram. The Sivananda Yoga Centres and Ashrams have been spreading the teaching and practice of yoga for over 60 years.
We offer a number of short stays where you can start your yoga practice in an integral way. Practice at the ashram includes yoga postures, breathing exercises, the experience of a proper diet, meditation, techniques to develop positive thinking.
If you cannot join us for a short yoga stay yet, you can join our online activities. We have online yoga classes. We also host online meditation sessions in the form of satsangs. Satsangs are 90 minutes session divided into three parts : silent meditation, chanting of mantras, and short conference on yoga philosophy.

Online : Beginners Course
Saturdays, 2 April – 30 April, 2022 (except Saturday April 16) | 10:30am – 12pm
The classes given during this workshop are designed for complete beginners or those who have practiced yoga occasionally.
You will benefit from a progressive teaching of basic postures that develop strength and flexibility, breathing exercises that increase energy and concentration, and physical and mental relaxation techniques. By the end of the first class, you will feel calm and well-being.
