The Advanced Teachers’ Training Course allows graduates from the Sivananda Yoga Teachers Training Course to further deepen their spiritual practice and study of Vedanta philosophy, Raja Yoga, anatomy and sanskrit.

Transformative Power
The ATTC is designed as a way for you, as a Yoga teacher, to deepen your understanding of basic Yogic principles and strengthen in your Sadhana, or spiritual practice. During this month-long intensive, students experience the purifying and transformative power of a disciplined Yoga practice. Dive deep into the path of meditation. Tune into the subtle aspects of Yoga. This course is taught by senior disciples of Swami Vishnudevananda and is considered to be the next step after the 300-hour Yoga Teachers’ Training Course.
Yoga Alliance Certified
Our graduates receive an internationally recognized certification through the worldwide Yoga Alliance confirming that, in combination with the hours earned in the TTC, they are 500-hour qualified yoga teachers. The Sivananda Yoga Advanced Teachers’ Training Course includes the following:

Practical Information
Students enjoy special programs, festivals, concerts and symposiums that are offered during evening satsangs. There is one weekly day off.
*During the day off students are only required to attend morning and evening satsangs and to perform their Karma Yoga.
*Attendance at all activities is mandatory.
*Changes in the program may occur.
Under the Spiritual Guidance
Our Senior Teachers
This course is conducted under the spiritual guidance of Swami Durgananda, Swami Sivadasananda and Swami Kailasananda who are Yoga Acharyas (spiritual teachers) and senior disciples of Swami Vishnudevananda. Additional experienced swamis and yoga teachers from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta centres complete the teaching team.

Swami Durgananda
Yoga Acharya, senior student of Swami Vishnudevananda and director of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres in Europe. Her practical and intuitive style of teaching is the result of intense practice and over 40 years of teaching experience.

Swami Sivadasananda
Yoga Acharya and senior student of Swami Vishnudevananda, has taught at workshops and Yoga Teachers’ Training Courses around the world for many years. He is a dynamic, precise and knowledgeable instructor.

Swami Kailasananda
Yoga Acharya, long time disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda and director of the Ashram de Yoga Sivananda. She studied Sanskrit at the Sorbonne in Paris. She has been teaching in Yoga teachers’ training course around the world for many years. She is the author of the book, The Sivananda Book of Meditation.

The course in July is taught in English with simultaneous translation into French and Spanish.
If requiring a translation please bring your own headphones (type MP3/3.5mm jack) to use with our modern wireless translation system (rental fee 20 €).

• The Complete Illustrated Book of Yoga by Swami Vishnudevananda, Three Rivers Press
• “Meditation and Mantras” by Swami Vishnudevananda
• Yoga mat
• Notebook and pen
• Neti Pot (Recommended for Pranayama practice)
• Meditation cushion, meditation shawl (recommended)
• 20 € translation system fee (if required)
• 10 € for the room key deposit

Successful completion of the Sivananda Yoga Teachers’ Training Course is a prerequisite for all participants. This course is intensive and sound physical and mental health is required.
The course, together with the 300hr TTC, is officially certified by the Yoga Alliance (based in the United States) to form a 500 hours standard for Registered Yoga Schools (RYS). In acknowledgment, graduates receive the title “Yoga Acharya” from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres.
