18 live online sessions of 90 minutes in 3 parts

Mostly Monday, sometimes Sunday evenings

  • We study texts from modern educational works, from yogic scriptures and from works of Swami Sivananda
  • Applying the spirit of Swami Sivananda’s main teaching to the yoga class: serve, live, give, purify, meditate, realise.
  • Based on over 50 years of practical experience of the Sivananda Yoga Centres

Part 1: Monday 29 April to Monday 3 June 2024

Part 2: Sunday 9 June to Sunday 14 July 2024

Part 3: Monday 22 July to Sunday 25 August 2024

Costs: One part: €130, three parts: €345. A certificate of participation is given at the end.

Requirements: this course is for graduates of the International Sivananda Yoga Teachers’ Training Course (TTC). It is recommended to participate live in at least two thirds of the course units.

Swami Sivadasananda, Yoga Acharya and senior disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda, has taught at workshops and Yoga Teachers’ Training Courses around the world for many years. He is a dynamic, precise and knowledgeable instructor. He is the author of Sivananda Beginner’s Guide to Yoga and Yoga – Your Home Practice Companion.

Practical information

Each session consists of:

  • 20 minutes  guided practice of asanas, pranayama & relaxation
  • 10 minutes  discussion on the previous class
  • 30 minutes  text study
  • 20 minutes  introducing a workshop, off the mat interaction or lifestyle advice
  • 10 minutes  guided practice of meditation or a mental exercise

Before each session you will receive a copy of the teaching material in the four course languages.

Within a few days, the YouTube link of the video recording will be sent.
