These practical asana and pranayama sessions present fascinating perspectives on Hatha Yoga, combining body, mind and soul.
Each year, a new central theme is explored through a series of Hatha Yoga online courses, harmoniously combining guided practice and in-depth theoretical teachings.
Whether you are an intermediate or advanced practitioner, these courses allow you to progress at your own pace thanks to available recordings and complete educational documentation.
A series of courses throughout the year
The program is divided into several courses throughout the year. Each course is composed of 6 weekly sessions (with some exceptions). You can register for a single course or several, according to your interests and availability.
Session structure (90 minutes)
Each session lasts 90 minutes and follows a precise structure.

The body thrives on movement. The body functions best when it moves regularly and through a wide range of motion. The practice of sun salute and asanas offers a simple and effective way to keep the body mobile, resilient, and healthy. Each session will guide you to move with ease through known and less known asana cycles.

Wed., 24 June: Movement Improves Circulation – Sedentary lifestyle affects blood circulation, especially in the legs, lungs, and upper body, How movement, muscular activity, and deep breathing improve blood flow throughout the body.
Thur., 2 July: Movement Maintains Joint Mobility – Sitting and repetitive activities can reduce mobility in the hips, shoulders, spine, and ankles., Develop greater freedom of movement and reduce stiffness.
Tue., 7 July (8–9:30 pm): Movement Nourishes Connective Tissue – Explore how Asanas support and stabilize muscles and joints, maintain structural integrity, allow smooth, coordinated movement between tissues
Tue., 14 july: Movement Supports Posture and Spinal Alignment – A closer look at common postural imbalances such as rounded shoulders, forward head posture, and a collapsed chest, How asanas improve spinal alignment
Tue., 21 July: Movement Stimulates the Organs – Stretching, compression, and release gently massage the digestive, respiratory, circulatory, and pelvic organs, Observe how asanas support digestion, breathing, lymphatic flow, and natural elimination processes.
Each session covers a comprehensive sequence of pranayama and asanas. The focus is on a specific approach to deeper relaxation. After final relaxation we practice affirmations of an uplifting human value: a scriptural quote, words of the Masters and a story.
6 sessions, Tuesdays, 6–7:30 pm (CET)
Tue., 4 August (8–9:30 pm): Practice yoga daily: improves sleep, lowers stress, supports healthy circadian rhythms, Avoid late-night eating: supports overnight recovery, metabolism, and restful sleep, Affirmations on equanimity.
Mon., 10 August: Stretch the stress away. Conscious stretching unblocks vital energy and expands the mind. Affirmations on friendliness.
Tue., 18 August (8–9:30 pm): Contract and relax. The yogic way of physical workout helps the mind to unwind. Affirmations on non-violence.
Tue., 25 August: Moving against gravity and then flowing towards it. This focus on the “here” grounds the mind. Affirmations on compassion.
Tue., 1 September: Expanding the breath into a free flow. Conscious breathing centres the mind in the “now”. Affirmations on courage.
Each session covers a comprehensive sequence of pranayama and asanas. The focus is on relaxed concentration. After final relaxation there will be a 10 minutes guided meditation practice. The session ends with a small story on meditation.

Swami Sivadasananda
Yoga Acharya
Swami Sivadasananda is a Yoga Acharya and long-time disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda. He has been teaching in yoga teacher trainings and workshops worldwide for many years.
He is a dynamic, precise and highly skilled teacher, recognized for the clarity of his teachings and his ability to make the most subtle aspects of yoga accessible.
He is the author of two reference books:
• “Sivananda Beginner’s Guide to Yoga”
• “Yoga – Your Home Practice Companion”
Who is it for?

This course is for practitioners who already have a regular yoga practice and wish to deepen their understanding of Hatha Yoga, both practically and theoretically.
