Yoga Teacher Trainings in India

Study yoga at its source, in the Himalayas

Since 2006, the European Sivananda centres have been organizing training courses in Rudraprayag, in the Himalayas, offering the unique opportunity to deepen your practice in the original context of yoga, surrounded by the sacred mountains and the Ganges.

The pure air, deep silence and spiritual vibrations of the Himalayas create an incomparable environment for profound inner transformation.

Imagine waking up to a panoramic view of the Ganges and the Himalayan peaks.

Practicing asanas on an outdoor platform, in the pure mountain air.

Studying yoga philosophy in a place charged with the spiritual vibrations of generations of sages.

Training in yoga in India is much more than learning to teach. It is a total immersion in the tradition, an opportunity to transform your practice and your life in the original context of yoga.

Each year, the European Sivananda centres organize International Yoga Teacher Trainings in Rudraprayag, where modern comfort blends with the authenticity of a sacred place.

Each day is paced by intensive practice, study of the texts, inspiring satsangs with the Swamis and special programs that immerse you in Indian spiritual culture.

Sit alone on the banks of the Ganga. Concentrate. Meditate. How she does instantaneously withdraw your mind from the physical world to the regions of immortality!
