You have completed the Sivananda teacher training, perhaps even the advanced training or Sadhana Intensive, and you’re wondering what the next step is to advance in your practice and spiritual life?

The Yoga LIT (Life immersion training) program offers you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself for six months in a complete yogic lifestyle.

Study, practice and serve within a spiritual community, under the guidance of an experienced Swami.

This yogic lifestyle immersion allows you to:

  • Deepen your yoga experience after the TTC, ATTC or Sadhana Intensive
  • Develop your teaching skills by assisting and teaching asana classes, with feedback from experienced Sivananda teachers
  • Live in a spiritual community: participate in daily satsangs, enjoy the warm support of the community
  • Improve your lifestyle with yogic nutrition, regularity of practice, development of positive thinking
  • Advance in your personal practice through collective sadhana and individual guidance

  • Preparation and assistance or teaching of asana classes twice a week

Two-hour meeting with the Swami supervising the program, once a week. You present orally the subjects studied during the week, thus developing your teaching and lecture facilitation skills.

Writing a ten-page memoir on a subject chosen from the themes studied, validated by the training coordinator.

Daily programme

1 day of rest per week.

Objectives

Immersion in yogic life. Residential programme to immerse yourself in a yogic lifestyle, to deepen knowledge of the four classical paths of yoga, develop teaching abilities and go further in self-knowledge, while living in the inspiring and protective atmosphere of the ashram and guided by a Swami.

Duration

6 months, 1700 hours of training

Prerequisites

  • Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training diploma (TTC)
  • Interview with the Yoga LIT programme coordinator after review of online registration
  • Valid health insurance in France

 

Start date

Anytime, depending on availability. The first week is a trial period.

Vacation possibility: 3 weeks during the 6 months.

Special discount

25% discount for registration in the ATTC or Sadhana Intensive training if completed after the Yoga LIT programme. This offer is valid for 1 year after the end of the Yoga LIT programme and only applies to trainings taking place at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in France.

  1. Fill out the online registration form
  2. Interview with the programme coordinator after review of your application
  3. Pay €500 deposit to confirm your registration
  4. The balance will be due at the end of the one-week trial period
