The magic of Indian dance and music

Practical workshop and exceptional Bharata Natyam performance

  • Friday 10 August, 8pm: Exceptional bharata natyam dance performance and veena concert
  • Saturday 11 August, 12 noon: Practical workshop in classical Indian music and dance
  • Traditional Indian art has always been about celebrating the beauty of creation and connecting us to higher levels of consciousness through music, chanting and dance.
    Raghunath shares his art with a boundless vitality and intense devotion that make his performances an unforgettable experience.

    With: Raghunath Manet

    Raghunath Manet, from Pondicherry in India, is a choreographer, bharata natyam dancer, musician, composer and veena player with an international career. He is also a film director, actor and writer. He composes and performs with Dr Balamuralikrishna. He is the spiritual son of Ram Gopal. He has received numerous awards, both in India and in France, for his enormous contribution to the dissemination of Indian art and culture.

    Daily schedule:

    • 6am: Satsang (group meditation, kirtan and mantra chanting, short lecture)
    • 8am: Yoga class
    • 10am: Brunch (lacto vegetarian / sattvic diet)
    • 10:45am: One-hour karma yoga (selfless service)
    • Between 12pm and 3pm: One-hour lecture or asana workshop or silent walk
    • 4pm: Yoga class
    • 6pm: Dinner (lacto vegetarian / sattvic diet)
    • 6:45pm: One-hour karma yoga (if not done in the morning)
    • 8pm: Satsang (group meditation, kirtan and mantra chanting, short lecture)
