Topics covered:

  • Breathing techniques to expand vital energy
  • The science of yogic breathing
  • Unblocking the flow of vital energy through asanas and pranayama
  • Relationship between breathing, mental poise and deep relaxation
  • Breathing exercises to systematically improve vital capacity

Daily schedule:

  • 6am: Satsang (group meditation, kirtan and mantra chanting, short lecture)
  • 8am: Yoga class
  • 10am: Brunch (lacto vegetarian / sattvic diet)
  • 10:45am: One-hour karma yoga (selfless service)
  • Between 12pm and 3pm: One-hour lecture or asana workshop or silent walk
  • 4pm: Yoga class
  • 6pm: Dinner (lacto vegetarian / sattvic diet)
  • 6:45pm: One-hour karma yoga (if not done in the morning)
  • 8pm: Satsang (group meditation, kirtan and mantra chanting, short lecture)
